DETAILED INFOMATION

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR NEW HEAT TRANSFER VINYL CLOTHING PIECES?

Please note that you will be supplied with a care sheet with your order if Heat Transfer Vinyl is used on your new clothing items! Some Poison to the Bone pieces use other methods of printing such as Screen Printing/ DTG which needs a lot less maintenance

For your vinyl designs you must follow the care instructions to keep your fits looking premium

MUST wash INSIDE OUT to protect design, it’s heat pressed onto the top layer of the material, so abrasive washing may cause edge peeling. HANG TO DRY as machine dryers can disrupt the vinyl

Please machine wash in COLD water as hot water can disrupt the heat pressed design

Do NOT iron directly over vinyl designs (the rest of the item of clothing is fine to do so) But if needing to, use a HANKIE over the design to protect it from heat of iron, as it can melt the design if this is not used

Design/ Logo Material Info: What is HTV ?

The material used currently for some of the Poison to the Bone designs, which is cut and pressed on by myself (Georgia the owner)  at my home studio, is Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV), which needs some care steps to keep these hand made designs looking premium. whereas some pieces use Screen Printing and DTG (Direct Transfer to Garment) printing, used by many clothing companies you know and love. This technique helps the design to embed deep into the clothing fibres, whereas in HTV the design is melted by heat pressing onto the top layer of the clothing.
